Meet Miles Lu, Founder of Mulan Jade
Jade has been part of my family story for three generations. I grew up learning that a beautiful piece is not defined by a single shade of green or a flawless surface. Its character comes from the way color, translucency, texture, craftsmanship, and natural markings come together.
Three generations of jade
My family built its livelihood around jade, and that experience shaped the way I choose and present each piece today. We look closely, ask careful questions, and respect the individuality of natural stone. Every bangle, pendant, and ornament carries a different balance of light, color, and texture.
From China to Southeast Asia
In 2022, I began bringing carefully selected Chinese jadeite to customers across Southeast Asia. That journey taught me how naturally jade can move across cultures. A piece can celebrate a milestone, honor a family connection, or become part of a woman's everyday style while still keeping its own history.
A new chapter in the United States
Mulan Jade now serves customers in the United States. I created this chapter for women who want meaningful jewelry with a modern point of view, along with the clear information they need to shop with confidence from a distance.
Why the name Mulan Jade
The name is inspired by Hua Mulan, whose story represents courage, resolve, and the freedom to choose your own path. That spirit reflects what I hope every customer feels when she wears jade: grounded in where she comes from, and free to become who she is.
